Gentlemen,

Short cut kuna ng kunti umpisahan kuna June 4, 2010, Friday morning clear na my SET tayo ng CS Dito sa Lingayen at maglalaro tayo sa WIZARD DEN Lingayen, pero hindi ko alam kung anong oras. Ala UNA (1:00 pm) ng hapon completo na ang Players(CS Lingayen) ko. Nag training pa kami at gumawa ng game plan. At nag plano kami kung anong oras kami pupunta sa Wizard Den para mag install kami ng Counter-Strike v1.6 – 21 pakatapos naming magsara ng shop na kausap ko narin si JULES at si Michael Night ung nagmamanage ng Computer shop sa Wizard Den. Umabot kami ten 10:00 pm sa pag lalaro at pag iinsayo. Gumawa rin kami ng ID Namin pansamantala. Mayamaya my dumating na txt galing sa team ng CS MLSQ at sabi doon hindi matutuloy ang laro.

Ito ang mga sinabi naming:

Master Ed : Sayang Laro, Sayang Training natin din na ba matutuloy ang laro bukas?
Hi Jackker : Todas, hindi daw tuloy ang laro.
Makakavelli : Sayang Tagal Pa naman akong di naglaro, kunting araw nalang go na ako
Maynila para magtrabaho.
Gangsta : Akala ko tuloy na ang laro
Master G : Wala akong sinabi, sabi ko lang sa isip ko, ok lang para makapag pahinga bukas,
tas labas kami ng misis ko with my children kasi bukas off ako.

Pag-uwi ko sa bahay. Kinausap ko ang aking asawa’t mga anak sabi ko labas naman tayo sabi ng mga bata “ok! gusto ko sa jollibee ung ice cream, gusto ko Mall”, mag off ka nalang muna sa trabaho mo txt mo nalang ang Boss mo or pasok ka muna, mag halfday ka nalang at punta tayo Sa Dagupan wait ka nalang namin dito after lunch, para mag relax tayo’t kumain, at shopping.

June 5, 2010, Saturday alas 4 ng madaling araw nagising akot di ako makatulog halos isang oras, Kinuha ko ang cellphone at pinatay sabi ko “papatayin ko ito para walang sturbo”. Nagising ako 7:30 am nagpaluto ako ng 1 kilong pork chop, at nagpabili ako ng Softdrinks na malamig After 1 hour siguro saka kami kumain ng mga anak ko at asawa. Alas 9:00 ng umaga lumipat ako sa family house naming para matulog at di maisturbo ng mga bata. Bandang Alas 11:00 am nagising ako at bumalik sa bahay ko nanood ako, mga 12:00 noon binuksan ko CP ko. Yon, ilang text dumating galing sa mga ka Team Ko at tuloy daw ang laban after lunch. Eh after lunch din alis namin pa puntang dagupan. Pati ang boss ko nag txt pala wala daw internet pinapapunta ako sa shop (nong araw na ung Halos lahat ng PLDT Line Walang Internet dito sa Lingayen). Naligo ako sobrang bilis. Maya maya tumawag (12:33) si Hi Jakker nasa binmaley na daw kayo (Team CS MLSQ). At Pag dating ko ng Caramat Shop maya maya parating naring kayo.

Tinawag ko si Hi Jackker at si Gangsta at sabi ko punta kayo kay Wizard den kausapin nyo si Jules para sa laro. Pumunta sila maya maya bumalik wala si Jules, pati si Makakavelli ung isang player ng CS Lingayen, wala pa nag papasundo pa (putang ina sabi ko) dahilan sa hindi sya naniniwala na my laro dahil alam nya na hindi matutuloy.

Nadesisyon si Hi Jakker na sunduin nalang si Michael Night(sa Dumalandan) at Jules (ng Wizard den) at sunduin din si Makavelli (CS Lingayen Player) sa Bugallon Subdivision.

Tinawag ko si Quick Draw ha (MLSQ Player) sabi ko sa kanya Biglaan laro natin kasi sabi nyo hindi matutuloy laro natin, ako nga natulog naka off Cp ko. Paki sabi nalang sa mga Ka team mo na ganoon, kunti hintay lang. My isa pa akong kina usap ung nagbabasa rito sa mga Bulletin at ganoon din and sinabi ko sa kanya. Si 3zai ata un, di ko lang ako sure.

Maya maya ulit lumapit si Nan (MLSQ Player) sabi nya “matagal pa ba, my isang oras pa ba?” sabi ko uu, biglaan kasi. Maya maya naglaro pa kayo ng Dota saglit, naka 19 Pesos kaung tatlo (per head). Pagkatapos noon maunan na kayo doon sunod na kami sabi ko.

Pag dating doon nag-antay pa ang bawat panig siguro umabot ng 20 mins. Nag-umisa ang pag seset-up ng kanya kanyang PC. At ang lumabas………..

Sabi ko sa team ko maling version, iba ito sabi ko, maraming adjustment na magyayari hindi pwede ito hindi itong version na nilalaro natin, sasabit tayo sa laro. Malaki pa naman pusta natin at ibang version kung saan tau nagtraining hindi pwede ito.

Read this…… bale Counter Strike... College na ako noon mga 3rd year mga 1999 meron na niyan di kuna maalala….. Nagstart ako maglaro nito ng College... Isang araw punta ako ng mall para mag laro ng playstation with my X, Nagkataon di pede yung playstation my sira sa dagupan. Tapos may nakita akong Pc rental... Naamaze ako kasama ko ung X ko na maglaro nun kasi may barilan tuwang tuwa naman sya... Ang saya saya naming noon kasi unang beses kong maglaro ng counter at first time ko rin na magrent ng pc...

Ang Pagkakaalam ko CounterStrike ang unang dahila kaya dumami ang Computer shops dito sa Pilipinas... Tuwang tuwa ako sa first kill ko, hand gun ng terrorist kasi di ko pa alam bumili dati... tapos nung natutunan ko na... dual beretta gamit ko... Kala ko kasi malakas dahil dalawa tapos un ung laging gamit sa tv nung bata ako(lito lapid at FPJ)...

Pagkalipas ng ilang weeks kasa kasama kuna mga classmate ko sa Arellano(Computronix College)

natuto na rin akong maglaro ng matino. Lagi silang may nickname... ung isa Neo pa nga ata.. Pangalan ng nakalaro namin sa countermy mga mayayabang, at pag nasaksak ka pagtatawanan ka lang nila. So ayun the adventure begins.

Every Saturday routine ko, sinusundo ko X ko at sinasama ko an rin para lang may kalaro akong beginner. Sa bahay ung dating mario, at racing game na nilalaro ko sa pc namin e nagka counter na... Saya ko kasi may mga bots... Natutuo ako ng mga commands.... tapos siyempre naglalaro rin yun isa kong kuya tapos minsan sinasama ko kapit bahay namin.... Kaya ako dati gigising ng maaga sa saturday.. Mga 6 para lang maglaro sa PC kasi at least di ako papagalitan agad tsaka walang kaagaw hahahaha...

Makalipas ang Buwan lumabas ang Unreal Tournament. Tuwa tuwa ako, kaso wala pa akong kasama noon, sayang. Naglaro lang ng laro pero tuwing weekends lang kasi papagalitan ng parents kapag weekdays... Alam na nilang bisyo ko maglaro kaya pinababayaan nila ako tutal alam ko naman ang limitations...

At nong nauso ragnarok. Wala na masyadong nagcounter e... may nakalaro akong klasmey. Panis ako sa mga moves nya sa Counter pero sabi nya sa akin magaling dawa ako kulang lang sa practice... Nakikisali pala sa team na pustahan.. Kaya pala.... pansamantala natigil na ang buhay counter... Hello Red alert at yuris revenge ang nilaro ko.

Haba na ng kwento ko, sa Tofie Café sa Artacho nagplano akong mag pa-tournament kaso nong gabing ung 5 team na dumating my team na ako noong, kasama ko si Reca, Tuso, at ako before that lagi kaming nagtratraning umaga until medaling araw minsan. Balik tayo, ang unang nakipaglaban eh ung team ng Cilves Team(Randal, Jeff, Tintakus) vs. Gangster Team (Xgangsta, Hindot, Bigdime) nanalo po ang Gangster Team 2 times tambak pa. Sumonod po kami Master Team(Master_G, Reca, Tuso) Vs. Gangster Team(Xgangsta, Hindot, Bigdime) nanalo po kami 2 times tambak po sila at kawawa po sila.

Kinabukasan binalikan kami ng Cilves Team Sila Groom, tintakus, randal, jeff, choyox, at marami pang iba halos magkakasunod na gaing un talo kami at dumating ung time na kumuha kami ng mga dating manlalaro ng CS eh wala naming nangyari talo din tambak pa. Until nagcombine ang Master_Team at Gangster Team at natatalo parin kami, ilang araw noon at gami traiing kami at dumating ung araw sa wakas nanalo din kami. Pagkaraan ng araw natigil ang laro mukhang natakot na ang siguro buzy na sila sa trabaho nila ung sa pag-aaral nila.

Lumipat ako ng Computer Shop April 19, 2009 sa Caramat Internet Cafe, pagkaraan ng ilang buwan nakahanap kami ng ibang makakalaro Team Ni Glassboy(Cheater) pero 1.3 version nanalo po kami. Ilang set nangyari minsan talo kami pero mas marami kaming panalo. Until dumating ung such time na wala na kaming makalaro, mahanap na makalaban sa CS, after 2 months nakahanap ulit kami ng kalaban mga 646 dancer at nag set kami sa M3:10 Artacho branch (CS. 1.3) natalo po kami sa at tambak sa kadahilanang hindi maganda ang set up ng graphics, mouse ng PC doon, nandoon nap o kami napasubo na.

After weeks Counterstrike Set ulit - Cilves Team at Master Team un nanalo po kami, at tambak po sila sumunod ang ilang araw dumayo ulit sila talo ulit at tambak ulit. Sumunod na ara dumayo ang malalakas na team player ng Cilves natalo po kami 1 points lang po.

Itong nakaraang araw dumayo kami sa Libsong East 3 on 3 Panalo kami. Abangan nyo nalang ang susunod na laro naming Counter Strike Lingayen Vs Counterstrike Malasiqui.

The allocation of teams to terrorist and counter-terrorist will be decided via a knife round or by the mutual consent of the two teams. (TOSS COIN)

1. The terrorist plants a bomb in one of two different bomb sites (bomb site "A" and "B") and it explodes destroying the area (just one site needs to be destroyed to win).
2. The terrorist plants a bomb and the counter-terrorist defuse it before it explodes.
3. Either team to be killed off before a bomb is planted and the remaining team members are the winning team. After the bomb is planted the counter-terrorist will still have to defuse it, even if all terrorist are dead.

In the computer game only one terrorist can carry a bomb and it will drop at his feet if he dies. If the bomb is planted there is a 45 second to 1 minute timer before it explodes and a warning goes out to all players that a bomb has been planted but not which bomb site it has been planted at. Usually both terrorist and counter-terrorist start away from both bomb sites creating a strategy to split up your team or go together or create a diversion to one site and plant at another etc. In the computer game there is usually a time limit on the game of about 5 minutes.

Sa mga oras na ito ako ngayo'y nag-iisip kung paano namin madaliing taposin ang laban, para magtanda ang aming mga kalaban at di muling maglaro ng CS.

Ang inaalala ko lang kami po ay maghaharap sa Version na 1.3 kasi po nasanay na po kami sa Version na 1.6.

The terrorist plants a bomb in one of two different bomb sites (bomb site "A" and "B") and it explodes destroying the area (just one site needs to be destroyed to win). Or...

2. The terrorist plants a bomb and the counter-terrorist defuse it before it explodes. Or...
3. Either team to be killed off before a bomb is planted and the remaining team members are the winning team. After the bomb is planted the counter-terrorist will still have to defuse it, even if all terrorist are dead.

In the computer game only one terrorist can carry a bomb and it will drop at his feet if he dies. If the bomb is planted there is a 45 second to 1 minute timer before it explodes and a warning goes out to all players that a bomb has been planted but not which bomb site it has been planted at. Usually both terrorist and counter-terrorist start away from both bomb sites creating a strategy to split up your team or go together or create a diversion to one site and plant at another etc. In the computer game there is usually a time limit on the game of about 5 minutes.

1.0 General Information

1.1 Tournament Overview

Title: i30 CS 1.6 Tournament
Dates: Friday 6th April - Monday 9th April 2007

Game Version Played: Counter-Strike 1.6
Maximum Competitors: 128 Teams of at least five members each

1.2 Tournament Staff

The CS 1.6 head admin is Chicane. At the event itself, you will find us in the tournament 'red-shirt' section of the staff area, situated next to the server area on the ground floor. You can also find us on the event IRC in #cs and #cs.tournament.

2.0 Participants

2.1 Online Signups

Online Signups for the i30 1.6 Tournament will take place at http://lan.multiplay.co.uk. Registration must be completed in advance to the tournament before Tuesday 3rd April 2007 @ 18:00.

Five players must be registered under the same team to confirm one of the 128 tournament spots. Any number of players beyond five may be registered for any one team.

Tournament registration is limited to 128 teams. Signing up as a participant to i30 does not guarantee a place in the tournament.

2.2 On-Site Signups

Players are required to sign in to the event as a participant in order to take part in the tournament. On-site Tournament Registration will run while places are available until noon on Friday 6th April. As stated above, Tournament registration is limited to 128 teams and five players must be registered under the same team to confirm one of the 32 tournament spots. Players who do not signup either online or on-site by this time will not be allowed to compete.

2.3 Teams and Participants

When all the players for your team have signed up, they will be the only players you may field in your player line up for each match. A player can only play for one team, although a team can enter more than 5 players. A clan may enter more than one team but players can not be transferred between teams. Players can not be transferred across parts of the tournament.

By registering and participating in the i30 tournaments, all participants agree to abide by the rules of the tournament.

2.4 Mercenaries

Mercenaries or "Mercs" (players not signed up with the team in question) will only be permitted if the opposing team agrees to it and the admin for the match is notified by a member from both teams prior to the start of the match. Spot checks will be carried out by admins. Use of mercs as substitutes is not allowed. Any unauthorised use of a merc will result in match being forfeit by the offending team.

3.0 Tournament Format

3.1 Matches

Only de (demolition) maps will be played throughout the i30 CS 1.6 tournament. These will be selected from the following maps;

* de_cbble
* de_dust2
* de_inferno
* de_nuke
* de_train
* de_cpl_mill

NB: Which ever map is chosen for the final, will not be played during the tournament.

The tournament format will be one of two options.

1. Group stages with Knockout Rounds to follow
2. Double Elimination

This is subject to change dependant on the number of complete teams participating in the tournament.

3.2 MR Rules

The entire tournament will use MR15 rules, with a round time of 1.45 minutes.
There is no time limit. Both teams play one map, for 15 (MR15) rounds as both Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist. Matches will be won by the team that score the highest number of rounds overall.

3.3 Draws

Draw results are not permitted at any stage in the tournament.
In the event of a draw, the two teams will repeat the map with max rounds 3 and $10000 startmoney. If another draw occurs, this will be repeated as often as needed until there is a winner after a set of 6 rounds.

3.4 Early Retirement

If the match has been won before 30 rounds have been played, the teams may leave the server but the final score will be that of when the teams left the server. Remaining rounds will be discarded and will not count for ranking purposes.

3.5 Ranking and Promotion

Clans receive 2 ranking points for a victory and 0 ranking point for a loss in the group stages. At the end of the group stages, the top 2 clans in the group will continue into the elimination stages of the prize-winning "pro" tournament. The two lowest scoring clans will be eliminated from the prize-winning tournament, but can continue in a smaller and self admined 'amateur' tournament.
Clans are ranked by their ranking points. If two clans have an equal amount of points, the outcome of the match between the tied clans determines the rank.

4.2 Spectators & HLTV

No spectators of any kind will be allowed in game other than the designated admin for that game.
HLTV will be running throughout the tournament. We cannot promise to have the demos available at the event, but will be available for download online within a week.

4.3 Passwords

Tournament servers may be passworded. If this is the case, to connect to the servers, follow the IP with the password when connecting via the console. Else edit your shortcut to include "+password" and then the password. You can find out the password from the tournament staff and in irc on the day of the tournament.

5.0 Match Rules - General

5.1 Match Format

Each match is played on the scheduled map, which will be selected from the list above. Each map will be played 2x15 rounds, with each clan playing 15 rounds as CT and 15 rounds as T on each map.

5.2 IRC Channels

The tournament largely relies on IRC to convey tournament updates so please ensure you have a copy installed. A client may be downloaded from here. At least one member of each team will be required to be in the following IRC channels at all times throughout the tournament. You can connect just by using 'irc' as the server.

#cs.tournament - Tournament announcements and server assignment.
#cs - The general cs channel for the i-series event.

All cs admins will be opped, so please direct your queries to these people. Please be patient for a reply as we may be either in a game or dealing with other issues and may be away from our desk.

5.3 Team Name Convention

When in the server prior to match start, all team players must be tagged up with the same clan tag that they signed up with. This is to help with disputes and tracking with the server logs.

5.4 Match Starts

The match may not begin before the admin is ready. A team must have all the members it intends to field in the server 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of the match. If a match is still in progress on your allocated server, await authorisation from an admin before joining the server. If any team fails to provide at least 4 players, 10 minutes after the scheduled match start, the match will be forfeit and the opposing team will be awarded the win.

The only acceptable excuses for missing the scheduled start of a match are:
- Network failure
- Server failure
- Power failure
- Previous match overrunning

The allocation of teams to terrorist and counter-terrorist will be decided via a knife round or by the mutual consent of the two teams.

5.5 Server Crashes

If a server crashes before 4 complete rounds have been played, the game score will be reset to 0-0 and the affected leg of the match will be restarted once the server is available. If the server crashes from the 5th round onwards, the server will be restarted, and game play will resume with the max rounds of the affected leg set to the outstanding rounds to be played. Start money will not be altered.

5.6 Pausing

Pausing will be allowed throughout the entire tournament. You are allowed a maximum of 2 server pauses per team, per match, in the event of a player dropping. Each pause will last a maximum of 2 minutes. This is to avoid abuse of pausing, and to avoid lengthy match delays. Dropped players will be expected to reconnect/reboot immediately and to not delay the match unnecessarily. If the player has not returned after 2 minutes the match will resume without the team member. Substitutes can only be used if they have signed up to the tournament and are listed as one of the members for that team. Spot checks on players will take place and no "mercs" will be permitted.

The pause will be started at the end of the round in which the player dropped. When the player has reconnected and rejoined the team, the game will be un-paused and the match will continue.

5.7 In-game Substitution

In-game substitutions will be permitted in the event of a player dropping from the server, provided the substitute player is on the team's pre-signed up player list. No mercenary substitutions or changes to the players assigned to the team will be permitted.

If a player drops for longer than 2 minutes and a listed substitute cannot be found then the match will continue as long as at least 4 players remain on each team.

5.8 Voice Communication

Use of voice communication software is acceptable, either with the use of the ingame comms, or utilities such as game voice, teamspeak, roger wilco, skype etc.

5.9 Demos & Screenshots

It is advisable, although not compulsory, to record demos and take screenshots of your matches. Having these will help support your case in the event of any dispute.

6.0 Game-play Rules

6.1 Cheating & Anti-cheat

All forms of cheating are strictly prohibited - any player found to be cheating will forfeit the current match for their team and be removed from the all MPUK tournaments for the duration of the event, in accordance with the MPUK Cheating policy.
If a clan breaks a rule without the admin noticing, they are still liable for the consequences.

Any programs or files, be they changed CS files or new files, that change CS or add to its functionality, or that interact with CS in any way, are strictly forbidden. Modified versions of CS's .pak, .wad or .exe files are always forbidden, regardless of what they do. The use of any forbidden program or file by any clan member during a cup match will lead to the exclusion of the clan from the tournament.

Disallowed practices include, but are not limited to, the following: - Exploitation of game/map bugs/exploits that give an unfair advantage such as setting your gamma too high. - Scripts and external programs that provide an unfair advantage, e.g. HL speed cheat
- Use of custom models and skins. This goes for the player models/skins as well as the weapon models/skins e.g. longer weapons to stick out from behind boxes, bright or oversized skins.
- Use of custom map textures.
- Use of aimbots, wallhacks and any exploitations of the engine.
- Custom sprays that adversely affect game play, e.g. image of a Terrorist or CT, ladders, doors, guns and so on.

The tournament admins may inspect your machine for evidence of cheats/hacks - these may be random checks or as a response to a complaint.

6.2 Anti Cheat Program

Currently we will be using VAC for anticheat. If your account has been VAC banned you will not be able to enter this tournament.

6.3 In-game Techniques

Bomb-planting - Bomb-boosting will not be permitted. This is seen as an advantage towards the terrorists. The bomb can only be planted by the bomb carrier without any intervention from team-mates. Silent bomb plants will not be permitted. Abuse of this will result in a forfeit of the match.

Boosting - General map boosting with any number of players will be permitted. Any area that can be reached on the map is considered a valid position as long as the position is not used to exploit the map by seeing into areas that are not intended. Boosting through roofs is banned (refer to map exploits).

Map Exploits - Taking advantage of new or known map exploits (for example invisible ledges or "map swimming") will result in the forfeit of the match. Please refer to our listed map exploits online here.

Shield Use - The use of the riot shield is banned in the tournament. Any player found using the shield is liable for immediate ejection from the tournament.

6.4 Rulings and Appeal

If a team believes members of another team are cheating in a match with them, you must request an admin to go and watch over the match of the team in question.

If left until after the match, all appeals must be backed up with evidence in the form of a recorded demo and screenshots from the match.

Any dispute in scoring must be raised with the head admin before the next round of the tournament begins.

7.0 Code of Conduct

7.1 Tournament Code of Conduct

The following is a summary of the Tournament Team's expectations of you, should you wish to take part in the tournaments at an i-Series event. It is intended to remind you of your basic obligations to both the administrators and the other participants of the tournaments, instead of a definitive set of rules which are to be obeyed.

All teams/individuals participating in the I-Series tournaments will be required to:
- Abide by the Multiplay UK Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Statement.
- Know and understand the tournament rules and abide by them.

You will be expected to:
- Be present "in good time" on the server as directed by your admin. Turning up late for a game not only delays the games which follow but will cause problems with scheduling of the tournaments as a hole.
- Not cheat or abuse game and map bugs. We all know that cheating is wrong, and causes no end of arguments between opponents.
- Treat the tournament admins and other participants of the tournament with respect and courtesy. Abuse of fellow players and administrators is not acceptable and will be dealt with accordingly should the need arise.
- Tournament admins have the right to kick players who abuse them or their opponents and who continue to do so after one clear warning. A player that has been kicked is banned from the rest of the match and the clan must complete the rest of the map with a player short.

Be nice to each other, manners cost nothing and make the whole event more fun.

7.2 Complaints and Grievances

If you have a complaint regarding your match, your team leader or a nominated team spokesperson should contact the lead administrator of the tournament. This is an attempt to cut down on the mass huddle of bodies around an admin in the event of a problem when an entire team turns out to explain the situation.

It is the responsibility of the team raising the complaint to provide evidence that the grievance is valid. It is not the responsibility of the admin to provide evidence, as they are provided solely as an unbiased third party to arbitrate any problems. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a decision given by the head admin for your tournament, your complaint may be referred to the Head of Gaming for a final decision.

7.3 Termination

If you fail to act in accordance with the codes of conduct, you entry to the tournament may be revoked. You will be notified should this arise.

Remember, the i-series is a LAN party, and parties should be fun for everyone. The aim of these tournaments it to increase the enjoyment of everyone at these events, but this can only be accomplished when the players and the administrators are working with each other, not against each other. So, play nice and have fun!

8.0 Exceptions and Summary

8.1 Changes to Rules

These rules are subject to change at any time. Any changes or updates to rules will be notified on the i30 Website. The current draft of the rules is also available at the event on the i-series intranet. All participants are expected to know and follow all the rules; not knowing them is not valid excuse for not following them.

8.2 Exceptions and Special Circumstances

When it is necessary the spirit in which the rules are written takes precedence over the written letter. When common sense dictates it exceptions can be made to the tournament rules at the discretion of the Head Admin. It is impossible to foresee all eventualities and in the event of a situation not covered by the rules the Head Admin will make a decision on the issue in keeping with the spirit of the i-series tournaments and the interests of fairness.

8.3 In Summary

These tournaments are for fun. Please maximise everyone's enjoyment by playing in a mature sensible way. No-one benefits from players cheating and causing trouble. Remember; ask the admins if you have any queries about the rules before the event starts.

Understand Network Marketing or MLM. Many get into this business with the wrong idea or no idea. This is a method that is generally chosen by an entrepreneur that has a vision or product manufactured (in house, or by a third party). This entrepreneur(s) puts together products or services, product packaging, handles accounting, marketing tools creation, warehouses, shipping, IT functions and much more. The entrepreneur compensates independent reps that agree to purchase products or services and find others to do the same. This is also known as referral marketing and is frequently found in some form even in the most conventional businesses.
Your agreement is to become a customer and find others willing to become customers that want to do the same. However, don’t ever rule out retail sales. Ask about this.

Know your market ~ meaning; when you start out, before you sign up, do your homework. There is a lot of talk about having “passion” about your business for success to come. This is true, but passion may come as a result of learning and growth. I have met many successful people that did not have a passion for the business products, but became more passionate the more they learned about them and how they were helping others (particularly true in the Health and Wellness arena from my personal experience). Belief in the product niche and having an interest on some level is highly recommended.

Write it down and review: Write your long term goals to see the big picture. Create that dream board you may have heard about. Write down your monthly, weekly and daily strategies and tactical actions and review them on specific time frame.
Keep good records of spending and stick to your budget. Budget? Yes, this is a business, so a prudent measure would be to create a budget and stay within it. When you begin to see predictable patterns develop at some point, you will learn when you can begin to expand or maybe even seek some help if necessary.

Follow the company recommendations on building your business. If you do have ways that have proven effective outside the company norm, it certainly is your right and in your best interest to share them with your team, so long as they do not violate any terms and conditions. Most companies will approve any ethical actions and or make recommendations so as to keep you in compliance with policy and law. Use the ‘system tools’, since this way all that come aboard will learn the same thing from the same language. If your mother company has events, promote them as well, they will generally work for your benefit.

Here is where I will deviate from the norm…

Most Network Marketing companies will encourage you to build from you warm market list, as you should. However, very few, at this writing, are teaching Internet Marketing Strategies as applied to Network Marketing.

There are reasons for this. One of course, is that the overwhelming majorities of those entrepreneurs that own network marketing companies are not well versed in Internet Marketing strategies and is seen as a diversion from the warm market strategy by many.

However, a phenomenon has developed with the new networking sites, blogging, video, and other technologies. Many people that do have knowledge of Internet Marketing skills that have picked up on this growing internet phenomenon are using all of these forums to a great advantage. Now it has become essential with more and more people “warming” up to the internet for more and more information, there is a huge opportunity for those that understand the interaction of all of these networks and businesses we like to call “search engines” that all of us in Network Marketing cannot ignore.

All over the world various species of animals, insects, and plants are being slowly wiped out. Some may argue that it is the natural order of things, but human involvement has certainly exasperated the issue, causing untold amounts of damage to the worlds ecosystems. All of the world, that is, except for the Arctic Circle and Alaska.

The Arctic is home to many different species of birds, bears, fish, and other animals. Much of the Arctic is still unspoiled, and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) intends to keep it that way. This organization and reserve sees the value in unspoiled landscapes and thriving wildlife.

The ANWR reserve spans over nineteen million acres, and within its boundaries there are over 500 different species of recognizable wildlife, and many more that have yet to be discovered. Some of the world's most succulent fish find their way in and out of this reserve, and many native tribes continue to live here.

Life, Untainted

Life continues to exist and thrive without human intervention. In fact, it could be said that the biggest attraction of the ANWR is the continuation of life cycles before the recent intervention of man. The wildlife continues to raise their young, hunt and forage, and evolve in peace.

This situation is particularly unique due to the climate of northern Alaska and the Arctic Circle- the extreme temperatures and high amounts of snow have kept humans and animals alike from setting up camp. Throughout the expansion of people around the earth the movements have generally spread east and west out of Africa, and most have stayed in the wide central middle climate zones between both poles where the science shows that healthy lifestyles are easier if you can grow crops all year. Thus in the west it was that as people migrated to the north from Egypt they found winter storms could happen in Athens or Rome. And thus developed the need for storage for the times when science says if the average temperature falls below 40 F crops will not grow.

And after the times of Alexander the Great, the creation of his majestic port at the mouth of the life giving Nile made possible increasing crops in ever fertile Egypt to soon become the bread basket for Athens and then Rome. And even before Athens back into the far reaches of time, people had been forced southward in Europe and all northern regions of earth, at both poles really. The cave drawings in southern France also show reindeer bones at layers when England was covered in ice.

We have moved north and south several times. And with our human help, it is rather speeding up this time, as the flowing water out of expanding holes in glaciers shows from Greenland and Canada to the Antarctic. Soon the always frozen seas of northern Canada will be open to traffic, the long sought northwest passage which actually is a huge short cut for trade between Europe and Asia. All win with lower costs and quickly delivery in this case. There is that issue about the sea rising, which may create Dutch type cities and the need to adapt to what ever is coming at us.

If New Orleans needs 10 feet high dikes, let us build them. In some areas less precious or historic, maybe we need to move to high ground also. But what is coming is the northward ability of crops, from Changsha Mandarin Oranges and hardy banana trees up in west coast Canada, to grizzly bears mating with polar bears as they reach the Arctic Ocean, where small trees are starting to poke up from the permafrost. And we now have other burning bushes to put out while California crops and vineyard dry out as we find the Sonoran desert moving northward, burning bushes by bush.

Meanwhile Manhattan will sonn grow Mandarin oranges as now in the frost zones of Manchuria. And as grizzly bears have now reached the Arctic Ocean, we in Canada now have a new worry: what do you call a baby bear, still white but with a black mouth, who had a Grizzly for a daddy, and a Polar kind of mom? Change would be good.

What is blogging? This word is nowadays is getting famous and draws the attention of many people. When I first heard of this word, I actually don’t have any idea at all. Today, since I already knew what blogging is all about, I can do many things about it. I am now actually using it for the newly launched SEOContest2008 in UK. This is actually my first time to join this kind of contest though my friends used to participate and have already won. My JRSEOContest2008 blog is my official blog for the SEOContest2008 brought to us by UK Webmaster World SEO Contest.

I actually name my entry blog as JRSEOContest2008 for the SEOContest2008 because I know that I am still a novice when it comes to SEOContest2008. I still have to learn much things about SEO and how to generate more traffic on my site. I am still, and I agree that I need to learn more for the SEOContest2008.

I know that in the SEOContest2008, there are many participants whom already won many contest similar to this. It is nearly 3:00 in the morning and my eye lids slowly close down little by little but I am still trying to fight it just to make my blog a competitive like the other blogs which were also registered in the UK’s recently launched Search Engine Optimization Contest or more popularly known as SEOContest2008.

Well, honestly, this is my first time to join the contest. I have been observing my friends, Gio and Philip joining different contest in the country and also watch them receive their awards winning home as champions. I am also aiming for that and I am still optimistic that I will be learning something in this SEOContest2008.

But, perhaps some may ask what will be the prize when someone wins the competition. For me, the best answer I could give is that, in this SEOContest2008, it is not actually the money which is important. What matter most is the experience and learning you will get upon participating on the aforementioned activity. This will give us (we the contestants), a chance to broaden our ideas and widen our imaginations by trying to figure out on how to optimize our website using the keyword given. At the same time, PRIDE and HONOR is priceless. That would probably be the main goal of every participants like me to have.

I know that there are tough competitors who already have their experiences but I will still stick on my belief, that nothing is impossible as long as you believe that you can do it. Anyway, to us believers and achievers, impossible is not part in our dictionary list.

A Salute To A Friend

How will you call someone when he/she thinks of something, impossible is not a word that hinders him/her to stop and reach for what he/she crave for. It is hard to find word which will describe this kind of person. Perhaps, I too is having difficulties on how to describe myself to others because I am also the same person I am describing.

I know a person which has the same traits as mine. He, I should say, used to be an ordinary person but full of dreams and creative imaginations. I know him since I was still in college and he was also in the same school I was at. He is simple, talks very soft and friendly which kept him gained more friends. He was then fond of computers as he took IT incline degree and he was already a geek even when on his first year of school.

Today, with the knowledge nurtured in him, he recently joined the Philippine SEOContest2008 and emerged as the Champion. He has been competing in some SEO contests in the country for the past previous years and he was also a runner up on every contest he participated. I am referring to a friend of mine, the one who taught me how make money online, the one who gave me my very first website, and the one who told me to participate in the SEOContest2008 in UK. He is no other that MR. PHILIP TIANGSON, the winner of the Philippine SEOContest2008.

Quite often when you research information into the various cultures and cuisines that make up countries it is quite possible to find a common theme common name for the food of that country. Such as Chinese Food, Thai Food etc but to be honest it could be argued that with regards to Spain there is no such thing as “Spanish” food as with the make up and historical heritage of Spain it is not quite that simple.

The Political and historical make up of Spain with the unification of its particular regions and collective cultural identities make it perfectly reasonable and logical to argue that there is no such thing really as overall Spanish cooking. These autonomous regions have been slowly amalgamated through a number of different processes throughout history but have all kept their own distinctive features.

The relative number of autonomous regions that combine to form modern day Spain is 17 and in the main, they all have their own language variants (if not separate languages) and entire cultural heritages. One of the more interesting and culturally diverse regions is that of Galicia which is situated in the North Western corner of mainland Spain.

Galicia is surrounded on two sides by the Atlantic Ocean and it is pretty understandable to think that for a region that has such an involvement with the sea, its cuisine would also be heavily influenced by the sea. Nothing in fact could be further than the truth and there are a whole host of interesting and delicious recipes based upon the agriculture and viniculture of the region.

The time for talk is over and let’s gets on with the serious business of cooking!

For this delicious Gazpacho recipe we are looking to take enough ingredients to serve four people and us such we would need the following:

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 small leaks, white parts and then chopped.
600 ml of water
1 potato peeled and diced
450 grams of fresh asparagus with the tougher parts of the stalks trimmed and chopped.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 media makes
1 teaspoon vinegar
A pinch of sea salt flake’s
A few drops of truffle oil or extra virgin olive oil

Take the olive oil in a heat the oil in a saucepan and then add the leaks and stew slowly until the leaks are nice and soft.

Next add the water a little salt and pepper and potato if you are going to be using one. The reason for including a potato in anything like this is that it will slightly thicken the soup making the whole dish a lot more substantial.

However, if you are going to include potato in this recipe then you have to remember that the soup will need to cook for about 10 minutes longer than normal until the potato has softened. The next thing is to add the asparagus and boil for five minutes. Be careful at this stage because if you boil the asparagus for too long you lose the colour from the asparagus and the whole soup will lose a bit of the visual impact.

Take the soup and then purée the soup in whatever blender or food processor that you have and when the soup has been puréed, push the soup through a sieve. The reason for this is that you want to try and make the soup as much of a consommé as possible.

Let the finished soup cool and then keep the soup cool until you are ready to serve. When you’re almost ready to serve the soup poured into some nice wide rimmed bowls.

Now for the second stage of the recipe, the warm poached eggs.

Take a saucepan and add some water. Add the vinegar and bring the water to a simmer rather than a boil. Take the eggs and gently crack them and gently lower them into the water. Simmer a couple of the eggs at a time for about three minutes or until the white of the egg is set.

Remove the eggs and leave them to drain. If at this particular point in time you want to be totally obsessed with the display and appearance of the soup you could always try and trim the whites of the egg either with a knife or scissors. Take the poached egg and place one in the centre of each bowl of soup and sprinkle on top of the egg some flakes of your sea salt and add a couple of drops off the truffle oil. Be careful with the truffle oil in that the actual case can be extremely overpowering and is not necessary to everybody’s taste.

Then serve sit back and wait for the complements!
